I live here but still want to vote on this one. Shine is (in my opinion) the best breakfast place in town. Their variety is awesome. Their eggs benny is the best. They have tons of different types of hollandaise sauces as well. I love how gluten free friendly they are offering gluten free english muffins for those of us who cannot have the bread and it's nice to actually get the english muffin option, not just crappy gluten free bread. They always have new things to try on their specials and while I am not as adventurous as my husband (probably because of my allergies), he has never left there saying "well that wasn't very good". I am so confused at all the glowing reviews of this place. I've had a few meals here and the other location...Price is high for mediocre food. They get away with because it's victoria. Food is bland. I've had breakfast items, specials, shakes, muffins and they are all on the lacking flavour side. The wraps are horrendous, ordered the same one twice it was completely different sauce and flavour wise. Shakes are totally different everytime too. Decor/vibe is ok. Not sure they could pack any more tables in there, the fort location is particularly bad for this. Staff is quite good. They really seem to try and all have personality. The kitchen is slow though! I've waited a half hour for my meal,...

I live near here so I go quite a lot. It's a very popular place so there's usually a line - expect to wait up to 20 minutes on the weekend, sometimes more. The brunch is awesome - they've got a great selection of delicious bennies, omelettes and other standard brunch fare. The staff are really nice without being over the top, and they've never once got my order wrong. Highly recommend.

Can't say enough about the bennies here. They are the greatest breakfast food in Canada. So unbelievably good. My favourite was the OOO benny, which I beleive is off the menu now...please bring it back...get there early on the weekends so you dont have to wait long for a table. Reserve uma mesa agora

Shine is top 2 breakfast spots in Victoria. I honestly always get the same order. I get the Beckets Benny. It's too delicious to not order. The staff are always friendly and the food comes quick. There can be a pretty long wait on weekends on holidays, but it always worth it.

This Shine has been around for more than a decade. Big helpings of non-diet breakfast & lunch food excellently prepared. The Tartan Toque is back to back with Shine and specializes in wings and burgers. Another Shine location is downtown across from the Atrium.

We go out for breakfast every Sunday and this is one of my favourite places...I especially like the Tropical French Toast. It has funky, cheerful decor with friendly staff, great food & good coffee. Go early, it gets really busy.

Came here for brunch during our trip to Victoria. The service was warm, friendly, and efficient. The food though.... the food was AMAZING. We couldn't get over just how fresh and delicious it was. Perfectly prepared. Reserve uma mesa agora

The restaurant was super busy as I went there around mid afternoon. Whole day breakfast and brunch are both available for guests to order. I recommended omelette and cup of black coffee.

We have been here quite a few times.. always delicious! Sometimes you may have to wait to get in but it is worth it.
