Everything was perfect. I had never been to this restaurant in Shiraz for my party of four, so it was a bit of a leap of faith! However, the reviews and the menu looked promising, so I made a reservation a few days in advance. I'm glad I did! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the charming young owner who made us feel welcome and took the time to explain all the menu options, along with a little bit of family history. Shiraz is the best Persian restaurant in New York. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the cocktails were outstanding. Alex provided excellent service—warm, friendly, and professional. The manager, Azu, was also very kind and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon, as I had a wonderful time at Shiraz. Everything was delightful and divine. Thank you all very much for the experience! I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone looking to make their day or evening special. You won't be disappointed!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with its authentic Persian cuisine, excellent atmosphere, and attentive service. The appetizers were quite substantial, although they could have used a bit more salt. The standout dish was definitely the lamb—it was delicious! As a nice touch, our server offered us complimentary saffron ice cream. I'll definitely be returning for future dinner parties!

The host was very friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. We tried the sultani and saffron chicken with zereshk polow, but everything was quite dry and lacked flavor. Given how rich and flavorful traditional Iranian cuisine can be, this was quite disappointing overall.

During our road trip from Colorado to the East Coast, we decided to stop at this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our meals were served quickly and prepared exactly as we requested.
