Shoulder Of Mutton

We had an excellent Sunday dinner today at this restaurant. Our party tried the fried beef, calamari, and a burger. Many pubs struggle to compete with Sunday roasts, often serving tepid and stale roast potatoes or overcooked meat. However, that was not the case here; everything was absolutely excellent. The vegetables were beautifully cooked, including caramelized baby carrots, peas, and an excellent side of cauliflower cheese. The Yorkshire pudding was also good. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. We will definitely be coming back again.

This pub is lovely. It has a large beer garden and the staff are friendly. However, we were informed that the kitchen was no longer taking orders and we would not be able to eat until 'maybe in the evening.' This was quite disappointing, especially since their website states that food is served all day. This happened just after 1 o'clock.

We are on a local holiday and decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We sat in the garden and ordered a selection of small plates. The chicken Caesar salad was the best I've had in a long time. The staff was very friendly, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning.

A great place, despite a lack of local competition. Well staffed with attentive people. I enjoyed the golden and the pale ale. They were very accommodating for a large group. And the beer garden was fantastic. Would strongly recommend.

I only had a great lunch before the fire. super tasty with a fantastic wine selection and a totty service. if they would recommend a visit, we cannot wait to return.
