we arrived latically on Saturday night, starve and desperate for a very long journey to a steak. greeted by a log fire and friendly staff who informed us the kitchen was just closed. if we ordered in the cash immediately, the kitchen could fulfill our order. really great pub food; beautiful Prawn cocktail, deep-fried mushrooms and incredible Sirloin steaks. I can not mistake the food, personal or service....so friendly and accommodating

a fantastic meal and atmosphere right at my doorstep. this is one of the few big pubs that today still boast honest classic pub food to be reasonable. when they eat a main course, they also have a desert. they will die for the right classic crumbs or the coc fudge pudding with ice cream or custard. mmmm! the service is also timely and warm with the owners really hospitable. do not hesitate to try this great 120-year-old village pub.

had a great experience today! nice pub with many outdoor tables with shadows to use the beautiful weather as today. very friendly service, good eating, reasonable prices. well the journey worth, will come back in any case!

nice friendly pub. warm fire, friendly staff. good food and lots of space for the children to play. also our dog with a patt and some water welcomes. filz very comfortable.

The food was delicious and the place is really amazing. The staff made our meal ever so enjoyable. Has a lot of parking and an amazing outdoors area. Really recommend
