Side Street - Reservar uma mesa

Took the wife a daughter last week . We werent looking for a full on meal and wanted something light and casual to eat. We are regulars at Mainstreet next door for coffees but this was our first time at side street. As we walked...in we were made to very welcome by the bar staff. Menus were provided and we decided on tapas- meatballs with feta, calamari, beetroot bruschetta and chicken nibbles. Now i dont usually eat beetroot as its not my favourite, but wow! that bruschetta was excellent. In fact all dishes were fabulous. They have a good selection of beers too. And the staff were engaging and fun. Definitely recommend this place. Going back soon

We have been going here for five years and was denied entry tonight based on our sexuality, we were told if “ we had a female with us” we would be allowed in! How homophobic in After we waited for and about amd women were let in before us, we deciced to give up after we were told again by the bouncer “ your sort aren’t allowed in”! I have never experienced this kind of homophobia in the years I have been going to this venue! Truly unacceptable!!!!

Love the hype and casualness of this bar. You can enjoy some tapas snacks or meet friends for a drink. If you want dinner, Main Street is right next door. Great selection of boutique beers cocktails. Highly recommend.

Nice place to sit and have a drink or chat with locals, occasionally there is acoustic entertainment available.

Great atmosphere. Fantastic for getting together after work for drinks. Has smoking under cover area at rear
