Silk Rd Heswall - Reservar mesa

My friend and I visited Silk Road tonight. We were greeted by Etty and shown our seats. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. We were given menus and were spoilt for choice. We choose 7 dishes and each one was full of flavour and piping hot. The Mediterranean Sea bass and nasi goreng were my favourite. Tom also came and spoke to us. The staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. The drinks were well priced and the deals were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable night with delicious food in a restaurant that had a lovely ambience. Would definitely recommend and will return.

There are plenty of gluten-free options available on the tapas menu. The restaurant is also very kid-friendly, as my child was treated just as politely and respectfully as I was. The service during our dinner was excellent, and we enjoyed a delicious meal. The prices are around £20-30 per person. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Patatas Bravas, Halloumi, and Chorizo in Honey Red Wine Garlic Sauce.

Early evening meal. We ordered mostly Asian dishes. My wife thought hers we fairly good (chicken and squid); I thought mine were very ordinary and bland (ribs, noodles and chicken). There was no freshness or decent spice. We also had chips which were fine. Service was very quick and friendly. I feel the food was just not good enough to bother going out.

We were celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary and was so well looked after by Josh, whilst dining at Silk Road. Cannot recommend Josh or Silk Road enough. The choice of food is amazing and so tasty. We will definitely be back again soon. Some of the food was really tasty and good value. However, the service was not up to the standard of the food. It also felt as if the restaurant could do with a deep clean, sticky floors and tables not the cleanest. Parking: Parked in a side road a few hundred yards away Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

So disappointingafter one hour only a cold starter, chips and one tapas appeared! Other, larger groups seemed to fare better than the two of us. Both the chips and lamb tapas were warm, not hot. Won’t be back as lots of other restaurants to choose. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I highly recommend trying the Roasted Cauliflower Steak, Malaysian Steak, and Iberica Ham Croquetas, as they were all delicious. Another standout dish was the Halloumi. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

So disappointed! Starter arrived but after nearly an hour only chips and one lamb dish! We asked for the bill and left….. will probably not return.
