Great experience!!! Traveling alone with a dog is difficult to get something different from delivery to a hotel room. I saw the terrace, cried and asked if I could eat outside with my pup and your host, Cindy, was AMAZING!!! Not only was she gracious enough to let me sit outside with my pup, she offered an incredibly beautiful culinary experience!! The cocktails were delish, the French onion soup was phenomenal, and the steak was on the point and slept in your mouth. Thank you. Thank you, Cindy and Silver Star? You were a highlight of this trip to Helena!!!
Walked in and the hostess gave my family (husband, myself, and our 8 month old) a look that me feel like we weren't welcomed there. We were escorted outside and were surprised that dogs were allowed in the eating area. What was more surprising was watching the staff wanting to play with the dog more than attending the customers. I feel like the quality of the food was not worth the price. We would not recommend for families and will not be returning.
It used to be a great place to go. It's still, but for the past year or two it's been hit or miss. Sometimes the steak is delicious. Other times they are too salty and cooked. Do not recommend going during the week. Many people think they are trying to do a lot in terms of diffeent types of food when it is to be a Montana Steak house. Great atmosphere and staff are amazing. Where are the potatoes?
Our waiter, not going to mention his name here, did his best,but still has a lot to improve on. He could become great at his job if someone would teach him probably how to wait tables. Besides that we just waited a bit too long to get our food served. Great food though.?
