Sing Tao Restaurant

I believe that the previous review was unnecessarily harsh. This is a family-run restaurant with traditional Chinese decor, and in my opinion offers good value. We had a banquet of 6 courses which cost $37 per head. We often dine here and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. It's also BYO, which means it's not an expensive night out.

Went for the first time since in a few years thanks to COVID . Food was great , excellent san choy bao and roast pork follows by beef with broccoli , fish with black bean, salt and pepper calamari and special fried rice. All really fresh, well cooked and delivers with friendly quick service. Definitely much better than previous visits.

Avoid this restaurant. I wouldn't even give the leftovers to my dog. It's very expensive, the place is dirty, and both the staff and the chef need a makeover. The people in Beaumaris are all friends and won't speak the truth, but as a customer, I have to say it's not good. Maybe if they improve, I'll consider coming back.

Had a takeaway from here tonight which was extremely disappointing. The Cantonese beef had no taste or flavour and the sauce appeared diluted. The special fried rice was certainly not in any way special! Sorry guys we wont be back, save your money and go elsewhere.

Great food and service apart from this one waiter called Jeremi, He told me to get out o his swamp and his cooking was so bad grrrrrrrrrrr. He told me I was a poopie head. FIRE JEREMY.
