Food was flavourful and reasonably priced; service was great, however we didn't appreciate being told, when we asked for our leftovers to be wrapped up, that because we didn't consume all the chicken wings we ordered on the night (wing night) we ate there, we nomally wouldn't be allowed to take them home "I'll let you do it this time, but we lose money on them, so..." So because they weren't consumed at the pub they would be tossed out? Come on! Food waste for the sake of profit? Raise the price if you're so concerned about profit! I really liked my Blackened Chicken Caesar salad. I didn't have the highest expectations, but the pub proved me wrong. The young server however, needs some instruction in the bar. She didn't know what a lager was.

While in Vernon, we went here a couple of times when it was too hot to be outside. Great food. Drinks were average priced. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice little English style pub. We usually order and extra side and split the burger :) Love the onion rings here and the burgers are piping hot!
