This was a very relaxing space with generously spaced tables. The food is amazing, staff incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. No harbour views but your taste buds will thank you. All dishes made with care and flavour. We asked why there was a turnip leaf on top of one dish " because when they were delivered today we we're snacking on them & they are delicious and added to the dish. The produce is so fresh and excellent quality. The breads freshly baked. I had the matching wines while my husband selected wine by the glass. Degastation menu we choose 6 course. One of the best dining experiences I had enjoyed in the last few years. A small restaurant book in advance.

We recently went to Sixpenny with friends and it was SO different and exceptional!! We had the Small Menu (see Restaurant website) and when each 'dish' was served it was explained in great detail, by whom we believed, was the 'Chef' of the dish!! You will NOT go hungry!Service was exceptional, jackets offered to hang up and the restaurant itself is larger than first thought as there is another seating area towards the rear of the building! Wine is available by the glass if required.Restrooms were very clean, smelt lovely and had with proper hand towels!

We had Sunday lunch at Sixpenny recently with my elderly Dad and a friend. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, the service if efficient and friendly (in a good way) but the food... the food is sensational! I'm not going into the details because I would hate to be a spoiler. The delight comes in not knowing what's coming next but enjoying it all, one course at a time. The wine list that accompanies the whole adventure is great too. Thanks Sixpenny... we'll be back. Reserve uma mesa agora

The dinner was a birthday celebration. We had the 4 course. Service & food was exceptional. There was nothing I could criticise from start to end, service or food to presentation. Complementary choc mousse for my birthday???? I highly recommend sixpenny to all food critics

Wonderful food, immaculately presented. Attentive staff. Excellent wine pairing. Certainly not a cheap night out but definitely an experience to remember.

Came here for my birthday on Friday (which was a surprise) and I just have to say this place is AWESOME.
