We made a reservation for our anniversary dinner at S&L. The restaurant was bustling and filled with staff. Many of the staff members were in training, but they were all friendly and helpful. The drink menu was extensive, and I enjoyed a tasty drink with egg white foam on top. To start, we shared the buffalo fried cauliflower with blue cheese sauce, which was a highlight of the meal. I came here for my sister's birthday and was disappointed to find that they did not have any high chairs or booster seats for my niece, which is unusual for a restaurant. Despite that, the appetizers were decent - we ordered calamari, a dozen Miyagi oysters, chicken wings, and fried cauliflower with a blue cheesy sauce underneath. The main courses were the highlight of the meal, especially the prime rib which was amazing (as shown in my pictures) and came with a choice of 1 or 2 sides. S+L Kitchen Bar is a recently opened restaurant that is part of the Joseph Richard Group franchise, situated in Langley. The menu they offer is both refreshing and diverse. During our visit in March, we began our meal with the Prawn Bacon Cocktail for $13. This dish consisted of generously sized jumbo prawns wrapped in bacon, served in a Caesar salad. The combination of jumbo prawns and bacon was truly delightful and made for a delicious appetizer option.

The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere. I really enjoyed the modern, western-style décor. The food was both healthy and delicious, presented well, with a wide selection of drinks. The prices were reasonable and the service was quick and efficient. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely try other dishes on the menu.

I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the wagyu beef dip, which was delicious. The au jus and mayonnaise for the fries were both amazing. I will definitely be coming back here again.
