Where do I start? When we walked up to the counter, we were greeted by the sweetest lady who was just beaming with positivity! She kindly took our order and explained the process to us.My husband and I filled our cups with tea and then waited at the table for a few minutes before she brought out our sides. We ordered the clam chowder tots and the sweet and spicy cauliflower. Both were super hot/fresh and AMAZING! We would definitely order them both again! The flavors and texture were on point!Before we were even done, she brought out our lobster and crab melts with fries. The prices were incredibly reasonable, averaging just $1 to $10 per person. The food was absolutely excellent, earning a perfect score of 5. The New England Clam Chowder was a standout dish, creamy and full of flavor. The service was also top-notch, scoring a full 5 for promptness and friendliness. The overall atmosphere, even for takeout, felt welcoming and inviting. I highly recommend trying their chowder if you get the chance!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the fish and chips. They were quite delicious with malt vinegar, but I wasn't a fan of their tartar sauce. It had a flavor that reminded me of horseradish, which was not what I anticipated from a typical tartar sauce. Overall, the food was still enjoyable, though I found the fish options to be somewhat limited. The prices are reasonable for what you receive. Food rating: 4/5.
If I had to choose 1 restaurant to go to for the rest of my life, this would be it. I love seafood and fish. Slapfish does not disappoint. Presentation is beautiful, service is excellent, food preparation is fast, and everything is as fresh as you can get for Utah. They were recently bought out and the changes are great. 10/10. The food was bomb but don’t get the truffle tater tots…the truffle taste was super strong and honestly just not good to either of us. The poke bowl was super fresh and yummy and we didn’t get sick or anything so it was definitely safe. The fish and chips were super good and crispy and the the dipping sauce was to die for. Overall everything tasted amazing and we’ll be back!
The company has undergone what looks like an overhaul. The menu has changed and I did not have a great experience with my meal. I took a few bites, and there was next to no lobster in my Lobster and crab melt (formerly the clobster). I paid $18 for a grilled cheese, basically. Sorry guys, I used to be a loyal customer, but the cost cuts to my meal is losing you a customer. Sorry…
Fries 10/10 perfect. ??Lobster Roll (cold) 6.5/10 good but not worth the ???. There were some shells in my lobster and it was a little tough. Flavor was good not great. And it was expensive.Service 8/10 good. They did make a mistake with our order that was immediately acknowledged and fixed. The restaurant was clean and comfortable but the napkins weren't stocked.
