Slide n Shake - Reservar uma mesa

The latest reinvention of this retail space is a slider and milk shake joint. The space has been opened up a bit with more defined sitting area for diners. There are 12 sliders to choose from and 10 styles of milk shakes plus some tex-mex themed sides. Vegetarian options are limited.The sliders are cooked well but the chicken wings were very salty and a bit dry. It is sort of more-ish in a beer nuts kind of way. While on paper individual sliders are not expensive, the fact that they are a deal smaller than a normal hamburger means that a normal meal will probably means ordering 2 sliders or a fair amount of side dishes. This puts it on the top end of "cheap" eat.

Visited for dinner (takeaway, ordered on-line). Took about 45min to get our order - the Web site said it would be ready in 20min - and it seemed the staff were still ironing out processes. Staff were friendly, despite a growing number of people waiting for their food!Was worth the wait - both kids loved the food (nuggets and sliders). So this is now one of 4 restaurants I can go to across Australia where I don't get at least one complaint! Unless you're not really hungry you need at least two sliders for kids as well as adults + some sides (we made the mistake of not ordering enough).

We visited this cafe with Groupon vouchers, the slides were nice especially Portuguese chicken slide was good, we requested for an upgrade to milkshake by paying extra which was not accepted, which was bit sad. But overall it was pleasant experience with street view.
