I recently visited Slopes Barbecue restaurant and it was an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and the delicious smell of smoked meats. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, and the menu was full of delicious options. I had the bbq pork platter, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the sides were all cooked just right. Five stars all the way!I have been to many barbecue restaurants, but Slopes Barbecue stands out from the rest. If you are looking for a below par BBQ joint, this is ur spot. With decor old as my grandparents, confederate flags hanging on the wall, and an empty dining room with creepy lighting...This place has me paying almost $20 for a JUMBO Sandwich tray (Sandwich, Fries, Mac N Cheese, Drink).I was thrown for a loop from the beginning when my food that was listed on the menu for $12 rang up for around $20.I was starving so I moved past this and said ehh f it.The tray came out and surprisingly, the sandwich was not JUMBO. Instead it was about 3/4 full of meat, dry, and just not very tasty at all. The brisket tasted like it had been smoked last week and kept in the fridge. It had little taste.I was no...

First place I took my twin girls 26 years ago when it was located directly on highway 9. Sorry to see it has declined so. Going through the motions now...bbq is dry, collards have to be out of a can, the salad obviously poured from a bag, cheese from a different bag and dressing now out of a peel the top plastic container. Service doesn 't exist. Too bad.

Since the selling of slopes this past year serving sizes have decreased. I would much rather pay a bit more for a decent full serving. We order from Grub hub....My container of brunswick stew was 1/4 full.Hoping this gets back to previous standards of the Slopes we have visited and dined in for 30+ years.Big shoes to fill I understand...

Ordered a half a pound of chopped brisket to take out.After taking out the fattest pieces there was hardly enough for one sandwich for my husband. Very disappointed...will not go back.
