With a name like Smokey Moo, you know you're going to get some serious smoked beef. They recently reopened in the Gasworks Plaza after relocating from East Brisbane, and had a 15% off food promotion during opening week. I thought it was a prime opportunity to try them out, so gathered up some other meat loving friends and made a date. april 2021. here for an impromptu weekday dinner at a rainy night with the partner. we ordered the "platter for two," the choice of brisket and pastrami, as well as the potato skins and corn-copper salad for our choices of two meats and two next-courts. the meats were deliciously tender and smokey, the potato skins were whimiscal and crispy and the Cob salad was a refreshing side to have meal with our protein heavy. service was friendly and efficient. casual ambiente available with inside and outside seats, looks like they are also good for groups. reasonable prices. a beautiful smokehouse experience.

Visited on a Saturday night. We ordered the brisket and beef rib w/drinks. Restaurant at 50% capacity. All ordered came very quickly, and was as per menu descriptions. Good BBQ meat on offer, tender and flavoursome however overall ambience and menu lacked the oompf for a return visit

We had the 500g of beef brisket with fries and coleslaw, it was the best meat I have ever eaten in my entire life. It was on the more expensive range for the platter, but myself and my partner shared and we were definitely full. Would highly highly recommend!

fantastic selection of meat cuts with a good selection of sides. the personal is also very friendly.
