I fell in love with this place a few years ago while I was in elementary school. Their marinated cucumbers are my favorite! They cost either $5 or $10. After watching and trying out various Korean dramas over the years, I've developed my own way to enjoy a meal: I take a piece of rice, add a piece of meat, a piece of marinated cucumber on a spoon, dip it in the soup, and eat it all at once. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!

Our favorite spot for Soon Dubu was closed when we arrived today. There was a sign on the door indicating that the state had taken possession, and they have been evicted. No trespassing. We really loved this place, and I hope they can resolve the issue or maybe even open a new location. UPDATE: I heard they have reopened and managed to sort things out. I look forward to visiting again soon!

We visited this restaurant for a weekday lunch, and it was quite crowded. Fortunately, there’s a small parking lot right in front, which is a huge plus since parking can be challenging on Main Street. We ordered the mild Korean army stew and bibimbap, both of which were excellent values and came with tasty side dishes. For more food adventures, follow me on Instagram at @maggielicious.to!

The service was excellent, and the dining experience was enjoyable. The bibimbap was served in a beautiful hot stone pot and included all the traditional ingredients. The soup that accompanied it was also very flavorful. I highly recommend starting with the seafood pancakes—they were packed with a variety of seafood and had a delightful texture.
