Sonny's At The Lake

We were greeted with warm hospitality on a cool night at the restaurant. We started with a cold antipasto and mozzarella caprese, which were served with a large loaf of hot Italian bread. The appetizers were fresh and generous in size. The house salad that followed was crisp and delicious. Our entrees, including the lasagna, were substantial and satisfying. Our waitress was fantastic, despite also tending bar, and she provided constant attention. We were impressed by her stunning appearance as well. We will definitely be returning soon. Our bill for four people, including tip, came to $37 each, without any alcohol.

The attractiveness of the outside of the building is in indirect proportion to the warmth of the dining room. At lunch, a dinner menu and a list of (plated) luncheon specials was on the table. Upon inquiry received a “To Go” menu. While the server was pleasant, T Warm bread and butter ice water was promptly but overall, the service was slow with only one other party of two in the dining room. My wife had soup which was declared excellent. When finally delivered, lunch was hot, tasty and fresh. I would recommend this established. Groupon deals available.

My husband and I were in search of quality Italian cuisine in a relaxed and inviting setting. We decided to try out this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and the portions were generous - we ended up taking a lot of leftovers home. Despite the busy atmosphere, we never felt neglected and even reassured our server that we had nowhere else to be, relishing in the delightful food and conversation. From the delicious freshly baked bread to the homemade pasta, it was a delightful dining experience.

This restaurant offers excellent food, friendly service, and a beautiful setting. Despite its unassuming exterior, customers should check out the patio dining in the back, which evokes the atmosphere of Northern Italy. Even if you're not usually a fan of vodka sauce, their version is truly impressive. With reasonable prices and a full bar, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you're in Rockland County.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Bolzano for lunch. We sat outside under the tent and had a great pasta lunch. The portions are huge, enough to take home. I had the red sangria which was delicious. Our waiter was great, the whole experience was very pleasant. We both agreed that we would definitely go back.
