Sopar Restaurant - Reservar uma mesa

I LOVE Sopar. This restaurant a little bit outside the center of La Toussuire was created by 2 friends who wanted 'something different ' form the traditional restaurants in de Savoie villages. The interior is very loungy with a great visible wine cellar and the music is modern. Both guys are super friendly and very attentive to what you want. You always get a small appetizer before the meal, which is great while you are drinking your 'aperitif '. Imagine being able to order a Gin Tonic in the Savoie, which is not a Gordon 's gin : The only improvement would be that they should serve another kind of tonic than traditional Schweppes tonic. Sopar restaurant is definitely a big MUST in La Toussuire. It is beautifully furnished and decorated: modern and sophisticated while maintaining a nice warm local touch. It is obviously very clean and spacious but still very cosy. It has a sunny heated and comfortably furnished terrace. The staff and owners and extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They privilege quality and therefore do not have a very big menu but are more than happy to adapt. I am a vegetarian which is a stressful thing to be in France but here is it no problem at all. We enjoyed a set Valentine's meal that didn't disappoint. Wonderful presentation and flavours. Attention the detail was everywhere. Would like to come back just to try out the rest of the menu and fine wines!

Excellent diner at this restaurant. Good service, and great setting (tables are sufficiently spaced to have a private conversation). Great cuisine and wine list. We loved it.
