Sous le murier - Reservar uma mesa

Went there based on the year-after-year awards that decorate the entrance, plus tripadvisor reviews. Expected more, to be honest. Got the meat brochettes: beef quality wasn't great, and both the beef and the duck were overcooked. My girlfriend got the fish dish (pics uploaded by other reviewers). The prawns were good, but not too fresh, and cuttlefish was tough and overcooked. "Vin de la maison" was far from hitting the mark too. Was disappointed, as many seem to have appointed it the best place to eat out in Amelie.

Tucked away half way down the main street as part of the Regina hotel, this surprisingly busy but very personal little bistro style restaurant (classic local dishes served in modern fashion by friendly and pleasant staff) is something of a find. We have visited twice now and found it consistent in performance. Prices very reasonable but not aiming to be the cheapest lunch in the area.

Excellent food in the Regina Hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Portions are huge so don't go if you are not hungry! The chef certainly knows his way round the meat products with delicious foie gras

Friendly intimate restaurant with a nice atmosphere serving very good authentic Catalan food and accompanying wines. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal here tonight. Excellent food. Good service. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Best meal of the holiday so far.
