Southern Fresh Fried Chicken

Sunday in Early County, GA doesn 't have a lot of dining options, so we resigned ourselves to what turned out to be the BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER. It was so good that after lunch (takeout) at Blakely Chicken, and a nice afternoon climbing Kolomoki Mounds and hiking in the area, we went back to fetch dinner. I 've done that maybe twice in my life, and can 't recall doing that in the last 20 years. Part of it was lack of nearby non-fast-food options, but after lunch, we didn 't even consider researching alternatives. Had a craving for fried chicken gizzards yesterday. Wasn't disappointed! I knew the fried chicken boxes were good, especially with the fried okra. Now I know where to go for gizzards. Thinking I will get half gizzards and livers next.

Blakely Chicken is where it's at! Great food, great prices and awesome service! What else could one ask for! They have all the fast food chains beat hands down!!!

Pretty good chicken. Service is really fast. Really clean and tidy. Food is good. Sides are good also. Price is very reasonable . Good location also.

Back when Covid hit they were so disorganized hopefully the people working there are better now
