Southside Tavern - Reservar uma mesa

Saturday nights are the nights for my wife, daughter and I to eat out. Last Saturday night was our first outing to the Tavern. The food was excellent, as was the service. The only problem we had with the evening, was the noise level. It was difficult to even hear ourselves think, and we had to lean across the table to speak to each other. If it had not been for that, we would have given the Tavern an excellent rating accross the board. We will be back on a different evening to see if it is any better.

I felt like we were rushed through our meal. 2 of us got chicken scampi and the chicken was over cooked and tough. I also wanted a glass of reisling but they didn’t have it. We asked the waitress to split the bill and she messed that up. I use a cane and when we were leaving there were so many people hanging at the door that I had a hard time getting by. We won’t be going there again.

Great family atmosphere. Friendly, attentive staff, fast efficient serviceand really great food. The Mac Cheese was the best I've tasted since my late mother's. We were there with 2 disabled people--it couldn't have gone better. So pleased--we'll be back, for sure!

Large menu selection. The staff was friendly, efficient and attentive. Party of 7 before a school performance in Thayer, it was hopping, but everything moved along and would definitely return.

Nice place to eat. Many different games. Great food. Nice waiter.
