Spanky's Sports Grill

Went to Spanky's tonight. Ordered a pizza. It was well over an hour before we got it. We had to keep asking the waiter where it was. He only updated us when we flagged him down. He kept walking past us, not looking at us. I think they screwed up our order or lost it. Finally got the pizza, and one side of it was burnt. The crust was actually black on one side. We were starving, so we ate some. The waiter never came by to ask how it was or refill our drinks. He asked all the tables around us, tho! We had to flag a girl down to get a box and then for our bill. The waiter just hung at the bar talking to the bartenders. He was a short guy probably in his 40s with a reddish blonde mustache and go...

My family and I love Spanky's but our last few visits have been been great. On 10/6/23 I placed a phone order just after 5 pm. I was told it would be 30 minutes. At 5:45 pm the food was still not ready and was told it was only ordered a few minutes previously, which was not true. At about 6:15 pm the food was finally ready. Received the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich rather than the BBQ Pulled Pork ordered. Had to throw the sandwich out as my husband cannot eat mustard. Pizza was burnt and very overcooked. We went to Spanky's for lunch today. The food and service is always good. Today however, we waited over an hour for our pizza. The place was busy, but we arrived before it was that way and placed our order right away. We asked our server when our order would arrive and she informed us that the kids cooking in the kitchen had the pizza oven set at 350 and it was taking longer for orders to come out. We go there on a regular basis, we know that this isn't the norm. We were comped half off of the cost of the pizza bc it took so long for our order. Today was definitely not their best effort.
