Spice Republic - Reservar mesa

We’ve been ordering from Spice Republic for years, great food fresh, full of flavour and always delivered on time. Today was a different story everything was dry, the paneer shashlik was completely white and soft, no lovely chargrilled flavour or tandoori spices. Pilau rice had all the spices and colour in but tasted like poorly boiled rice. Mint sauce is equally pale looking, sort of whitish, tasted of nothing. I called them and asked why the change, to be told they have new management and a new chef. What a shame. If you were asked to cook Indian food for young children this is what you’d make. Everything is white, plain and bland. Last order from me, we will be going elsewhere.

this restaurant has recently been updated by only one take-off and the owners make a really good work. the service is friendly and genuine our waiter helped us to choose some dishes to suit our taste. we had herbal samosa and prawn puri for appetizers and lamb bungalow and chicken passanda for net with peshwari nann and pilau reis. everything was freshly cooked and really delicious. we even had a mango leti that was not on the menu. this is a bit away from the main road, but it is worth visiting for a curry in a cozy atmosphere.

Lovely service and food. The delivery was extremely fast and friendly. The Saag was great. Super deep flavour and really well seasoned. Naga chicken could have been hotter but it had a delicious dry spice. Also free chutneys and kachumber always makes me feel like a place cares. Best tarka daal I've had in the area too

in the pandemic we have tried quite every Indian outlier within a radius of 3 miles, in the hope to find a jewel, and that is it. twice ordered in the last weeks, and eating was perfect every time. I hope they stay consistent as we have found our Curry place. really excellent. Reserve uma mesa agora

Friendly staff, good service. Clean. Naan very yummy, prawn dishes excellent. Rice absolutely fine, despite what another reviewer has put. Everything else was good and correct. Currently BYOB but there's an off licence next door. Go for it!

Don't believe it when you are told you order will take 45minutes for delivery they usually take just over half of that. Big portions, nice additional touches, very tasty.

Do not go here. The food is mediocre with cheap ingredients. This used to be my go-to Indian restaurant, but I will not be returning.
