Stadtcafé in Bad Staffelstein is one in an endless row of German bakery-cafés, where you can st down and enjoy a drink and quality food, preferably German pastries; German bakeries are masters in creating seductively delicious cakes and pastries. It was glorious weather; we sat down at an outdoor table and enjoyed the output of the Stadtcafé, while watching the soothing Bad Staffelstein street life. Service of the waitress was perfect, almost motherly. We enjoyed the sit-down at the Stadtcafé very much.

Service and dishes are on local standard and lacking from professionalism, but still acceptable and fair priced. Quality of cafe is lacking by the amount of used cafe and cold if you forget to ask for heated cups.

Lunch for two was quick and filling. There is a good range of sandwiches and cakes. Even though the staff speak little English, we were well served and had a filling lunch. Payment is cash only.
