Catapult yourselves back in time to a place and time only us over 60, 70, 80 can remember. When laughter, and friends were the only things needed to complete a wonderful dining experience. Casual and fun, and don't forget campy in the best way with all the cowboy and Southwest paintings. The tables are worn from the 1000s of great meals they have seen since opening in 1959. Dress up or stop in after a day on the river. And try the espresso martini. That's something new that was not on the menu in 1959! Inside is VERY DARK! WAYYYY OVER PRICED FOOD! charged me $18 for 10oz of ground beef cooked in a circle with the outside rounded edge wrapped in bacon, which tasted like it was raw and rotten( I LOVE bacon and those was the worst I've EVER eaten) NO SIDES ...ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! We could have gotten 3lbs of burnt ends from another restaurant(which was our original plan but we were with friend's who wanted to go here) for how much we were charged for what was ordered here!! DO NOT EAT HERE

A staple in the Boise restaurant scene. This place has been good and consistent for decades. Cocktails are top notch. Wine list is nice. Very vibey atmosphere, it’s always dimly lit inside. Food is great love the bread, salad and pan fried oysters. Service is always great staff is so friendly and helpful. Definitely add this to your list if you haven’t been here yet. Amazing experience. We were visiting family in town and they brought us here for my birthday and we loved it!!!! Such good food, and we had such a friendly waitress who went out of her way to take pictures for us!

Walked over for dinner from The Riverside and the food was delicious but the Lemon Drop was top shelf.
