Stamatis - Reservar uma mesa

This restaurant was recommended by a local so we planned to have dinner here while visiting Astoria. It became the most memorable dinner of our whole NY trip! Staff is genuine and friendly. The food was just amazing. We loved the atmosphere. We will definitely come back when visiting NY.

This place has authentic Greek food. So many Greek restaurants in New York serve food that 's so americanized it 's annoying. In contrast The food at Stamatis actually reminds me of food in Greece. Prices are reasonable and I love their fish options. I go there often.

simple Greek eating. the fish are great. simply grilled with a lot of olive oil and lemon. the souvalki is great. ceremonial pieces. this is one of the better Greek spots in astoria

Best greek restaurant in North America. Grandma cooked options or the standard Greek fare. Lots of seafood options as well. Mr. Stamati is just the sweetest man!!!

Great authentic home cooked Greek food just like Yia Yia used to make. And at the end of the meal you are served with a complimentary piece of galatoboureko YUM.
