the station seems to have improved much in the last months (not sure when exactly). while this is a green king, the menu is much more diverse than the usual pub-grub. there are still burger and other favorites, but also...Katsu currey and some other surprises. we were there on Monday bank holiday for lunch and brenda could not have been more helpful. there were others here, of course, but she was always close. the wine list was also a very beautiful surprise, with good quality wines at a very fair price. the amount is probably different on a Friday night naturally, but we were a few times recently and it seems to be a different mood than the last years,) on a good wise. a lot of luck with th...

We visited this amazing pub for the first time and were blown away by its stunning upstairs function room. The staff set up a large table for our Christmas lunch, complete with a beautifully decorated tree and a cozy fire. The team provided attentive and friendly service throughout our meal. The festive menu offered a wide variety of options for everyone. The space is perfect for hosting a party, with a stage area and a separate cozy bar. We will definitely be returning for another special occasion in the future. A big thank you to the staff for taking such great care of us.

We had an amazing Christmas celebration in the large private function room at the train station. Louise and her team gave us a warm welcome. The food and service were excellent, and we all had a wonderful day. - Sim and family.

had a very relaxed lunchtime meal for two. both courses were well presented and well tasted. the staff was very friendly and helpful. beautiful view of the garden in a beautiful, large traditional pub.

I must say I really like this pub. The food is excellent and the service at the bar is top-notch! Lee and Dom were very helpful and Simon is a talented chef.
