Station Tavern - Reservar uma mesa

We visited the Station for lunch on Friday 26th July 2024. I chose my food from the Specials chart and my wife had soup of the day tomato and red pepper and the posh fish pie. I chose lamb koftas and then scampi with chunky chips and a side salad. The first thing you notice is that everything is prepared after you order. The soup tasted as if made on site and was lovely and my wife kept saying how good the fish pie was with meaty chunks of white fish and king prawns. My lamb koftas with tzatziki tasted every bit as good as eating them in Greece and there was plenty of scrumptious beautifully cooked scampi with crisp chunky chips. So we love it here and again it didn’t disappoint We went for the Whitney tribute on Sunday and had a meal before the show You can’t fault the food, drinks or service but the tribute wasn’t the best and we were surprised that it wasn’t busier The staff and location are very good and we’d recommend it to anyone who’s not been Great outdoor area which must be very good on a sunny day If you’ve not tried it then do it’s next door to the station

Superb, we booked a table to watch England, table was ready, food was great, not overly impressed with plastic glasses though, but completely understand why! We will definitely go back.

Come for the quiz, Steven is very inclusive and makes it a very fun night, just a shame it’s a Sunday, the atmosphere is as good as it gets

Been in here many times after walking through the wood with the dogs. Staff are excellent really friendly land lord and beers good
