after the excellent reviews I would like to share that is not so excellent. I have to say that it is very good, fresh. but service by the owner can be desired. aperitif service was not a freshly squeezed orange juice, but a bottle of granini...Juice, but prices were steep. at the end we usually enjoy the evening with a local sarg, christian lutz, which is very traditional in this opposite. but the owner surprised us again by saying that this coffee stinks and it does not serve him. ok, she is the owner, we are the customers. So we'll never be back.

Es war ein schwüler Juni-Abend. Die Gäste haben im Garten der Steinegg platz genommen, geniessen die leichte Abkühlung und während sie sich schon auf das Kulinarische freuen, können sie beobachten, wie Bussarde oder Milane sich Nahrung holen. Die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug, schon ist das ausgezeichnete Amuse-Bouche serviert. Der Steinegg-Salat mit frischer Kalbsleber, Pilzen und Croutons ist ein beliebter Klassiker und die Tagesspezialitäten jeweils saisonal angepasst. In der Steinegg fühlt man sich einfach wohl.

the restaurant owners make a point to be very hospitable, eat wine from local producers to order and welcome every hospitable to their place. the quality of eating is excellent, the atmosphere friendly and this small yet exquisite place the perfect place for. a nice dinner. when they go in the summer, make sure they get a table in their beautiful garden.

My wife and me celebrated our wedding anniversary in definitely one of the best restaurants in the vicinity.As usual, service and food and drinks were outstanding and worth the relatively high price.Service (..owner in person..) and chef were in exhilerate and very talkative mood.100% recommended..
