Stella. - Reservar uma mesa

It was very disappointing to find that we could not take advantage of the scheduled Happy Hour just because we wanted to sit outside. We specifically planned to visit the restaurant, sit outside in the Star Garden and enjoy happy hour. The weather was glorious and we looked forward to the outdoor setting. However, in order to enjoy the happy hour offerings, we had to move inside. Rather cheesy of Stella, I must say. We arrived early (right at 4:00, the beginning of happy hour) and it's not like we were going to prevent other people from also enjoying the garden. The place was not busy. At all. I will recommend, but only with caution.

The terrace was really pleasant and it was nice to have entertainment for the weekend brunch. But the tables really need to be wiped down before service starts and between customers. We were the first at the table, and I felt its stickiness to the surface, so I took out an alcohol wipe and wiped down my area, it was black.. We are in the middle of downtown, the exhaust from cars and construction will make it hard to keep clean, but it seems there was no effort to wipe down for a clean service. That was the only drawback. Otherwise food and drinks were good. Good service too.

The Hotel Sorrento is historic must in Seattle. We have been there for events, but this was the first time staying and eating at Stella’s. The service and waitstaff were great. The bartender was very helpful with classic cocktails. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. We sat inside, but weather permitting we might try the garden next time.

The food was beautiful but execution was so-so. Portions are also very small so plan on spending money on 3 course meal or grabbing something to eat afterwards. The courtyard is the reason to go to STELLA. but be warned that the hospitals have high ambulance traffic.

Food was delicious, especially loved the pork chop and fries. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Some of the best food we’ve had during our stay in Seattle.
