Stoffbauer Wirtshaus & Hotel

The new management and owners promise to make this place world class. The food is traditional Graz area food, and wonderful. Better than anything in Graz city. There are guest rooms in their hotel. They provide a taxi shuttle from the city for a few euros. Their chicken is amazing and they offered chestnut puree with whipped cream as well as ice cream with the local pumpkin oil for deserts. YUMMY!!

If you're going to Graz and looking for a place to stay then you can't go past the Stoffbauer. The owners are lovely people, the satff a welcoming and the food is great in particular the fried chicken which they are well know for. It's in a very pictureque area which provides for very enjoyable walks into town. My wife and I loved it and are planning on a return trip.

who loves backhendl is right here. at the fabric builder there are in idyllic location super backhendl. a little outside the city on a height you enjoy in a quiet atmosphere the best backhendl of the city. especially with the petersilkartoffeln an absolute hit.

Best backhendl I 've had for a very long time. Very friendly service, attractive staff, ask for schnaksel-salat , my second to favorite dish (only served late night)

Tasty food, nice waiters, superb location. We ate outside, at the sunset... Magic colours. Fair price. Food was really good, fast and kind service.
