Lake Starnberg, or Starnberger See ˈʃtaʁnbɛʁɡɐ ˌzeː (listen — called Lake Würm, or Würmsee ˈvʏʁmˌzeː , until 1962 — is Germany 's second-largest body of fresh water, having great depth, and fifth-largest lake by area. 2 It and its surroundings lie in three different Bavarian districts, or Landkreise. The lake is property of the state and accordingly managed by the Bavarian Administration of State-Owned Palaces, Gardens and Lakes. Let me be clear, this place is SNOBISH, no flexiblity, absurd rules. Out waiter Luka is getting my personal award of the most inadequate and lazy waiter outside Munich center. Overpriced, snobish, empty. If you have alternatives do not enter this place!

Excellent all rounder restaurant serving everything from Wagyu burgers to salmon tagliatelle and even sushi. Great views and service was also very good. Can't recommend this enough. Highly recommended.

Cool and posh place. Better to reserve before going there. Open till 12am and just beside the sea. Food is expensive. We ordered a burger and it was good.
