this place was really nice! many wood, cozy, quiet, good location next to the opera and the theatre, old town. the menu includes dishes for different tastes and budget, mix of German with some creativity. the staff is friendly and fast....We were a large group (and the place was full), but the drinks and dishes were served very quickly. it's a little hard to find right now because of the renovation work, but it's still good.

only to hall the corner from the opernhaus, this is a great place to come for an after-theater dinner and/or drinks. there are a lot of beers on tap and in bottle, and our party enjoyed excellent pork and scegedin goulash.

central location, good traditional eating (big portions/air prices), friendly service and a friendly, traditional atmosphere. cannot go wrong here if you want a relaxed and informal dinner (or just a few drinks)
