Strudelstube - Reservar uma mesa

We (my wife, our 20 year old son and I) stumbled upon the Strudelstube quite by accident reading from TripAdvisor;s top 20 restaurants in Maria Alm, Austria. I have not been to all of the restaurants so I cannot compare fairly, but my vote would be to place Strudelstube much nearer the top.First we learned that Maria Alm is much larger than the village area where our hotel is located. Thank heavens for the GPS which guided us to the right destination. Unfortunately, rain had started to fall so we had to eat indoors--our preference in Europe is always to enjoy al fresco dining which is so much more common here than at home in the U.S. (Greater Washington, DC for us). I wasn't at all restaurants, so I can't quite compare, but my voice would be much closer to the top of Strudelstube. At first we learned that Maria Alm is much larger than the village area where our hotel is located. Thank God for the GPS that led us to the right goal. Unfortunately, the rain had begun to fall, so we had to eat inside - our preference in Europe is always to enjoy al fresco dining room, which is so much more common here than at home in the USA (Greater Washington, DC for us). However, we enjoyed a pleasant surprise in the interior....

Also man muß sich sein Essen schon ein wenig verdienen. Abschnallen, rutschen, durch Schnee stapfen, die Straße queren, je nach Wetterlage mehr oder minder beschwerlich.Dafür wird man mit tollem Service, tollem Essen und dem weltbesten Kaiserschmarrn bedient.Die Portion ist familientauglich und von so lockerer Konsistenz dass man niederknien mag.Die anderen Strudelvariantel waren allesam, egal ab süss oder deftig wunderbar schmackhaft und frisch.Der Service unaufdringlich und sehr nett , nachfragend, rasch.

Visited Strudelstube(@Landhotel) for the strudel and also tried the garlic cream soup. Excellent! Very good service and strudel is a granny made affair tasty as made at home: rewarding try sweet chess, berries and classic "apfel". Absolutely decent prices for quality, service and comfortable location of products.

Wie immer ein leckeres Abendessen wenn man in hinterthal ist.Super Vorspeise und leckere Nachspeise kaiserschmarn perfekt gemacht.Und sehr nette und freundliche bedienung.
