Sumo Sushi And Japanese Fusion

Let me start by saying the only reason this place doesn't get a five star is because of the wait. In fairness my friend and I were there on valentines day so we had extreme patience with the servers. I had a reservation for 2 and when we arrived they tried to seat us at the bar (on Valentine's Day! . No bueno. We said we would wait for a table, that took about 15 minutes but it was well worth the wait. Once we were seated it took about 25 minutes or so for the waitress to come get our orders. This restaurant is an absolute jewel. It is BY FAR the best sushi restaurant anywhere around and rivals the best I've ever had in the big cities of the east coast. The best recommendation is to do Omikase (not sure if that is the spelling) which basically gives the sushi chef freedom to make his own creations which are presented beautifully and taste even better. The fish is incredibly fresh, the service is great and the prices are incredibly reasonable especially with the special orders. Let any other sushi restaurant fail, but don't miss the opportunity to try this place out. It won't disappoint.

The food was mediocre and the service was terrible. We waited forever to to place our order and then waited again forever to get our food, then we wanted dessert and practically had to beg someone to see a menu. We won't be going back any time soon. Better sushi in the Lehigh Valley with much better service.

I was absolutely stunned by the taste of the food, the presentation, and the options presented on the evening I visited. The other thing I noticed was the kindness of the staff working that evening. We were treated very well and I can't wait to be back.
