Sunset Grill - Reservar mesa

An unfortunate bad experience at this location. We had a small class field trip to Orillia, and went to sunset grill for brunch prior. 15 people in total, 9 kids (6-10 years old) and 6 adults. I called ahead and tried to make a reservation, but they don't accept them, so I let them know we were coming. The server seemed put off by us from the moment we sat down. He was not friendly or engaging in the slightest, to the adults at the table or the kids (who were all on their best behaviour). He came over to take our drinks order, brought all the beverages over, and then proceeded to go and take the drink and food orders of 3 other tables before circling back to us to take our food orders. This is my go-to breakfast spot when travelling through Orillia and has generally been very good, but I guess in the past I have not been going when they are busy and understaffed. Today was slow service, long wait for a cooled-off breakfast (otherwise good) that must have been sitting to be picked up and coffee refills only when I made a real effort to get a server's attention and even then, with a delay. Just proves people review a place when they have an unexpectedly poor experience. I will try again another time and hope this franchisee ups their game.

They were busy as it was a rainy Sunday.That being said the food took over an hour.The server said they cant do well done home fries on the weekend.After waiting an hour they came barely cooked and the server (without me saying anything) said she would replace them.Never happened i just wanted out of there.When i paid i was referred to the manager which was our server so i declined and left.They didnt offer so much as a nickle for the raw potatoes.This place runs on the franchise name but is way below the mark of many I have been to.

Nice, comfortable atmosphere just like many of the other Sunset Grill restaurants. Our server was nice and ensured my coffee was always topped up. Our meals arrived quickly. 2 of 3 poached eggs were overdone. Home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausages were fine. We felt rushed to leave after our meal was done, but it was understandable as there was a lineup right out the door. Tip is to come early to beat the line up as we did. Reserve uma mesa agora

Well, I know they were busy but… When she brought my meal, she came up from behind me with no excuse me, or or watch yourself and just plopped it down. I had to ask for a spoon for my tea and again, just plopped it down. I’ve been a waitress before and then I see you are the better of the tip Just Saying

I was a great fan of grilling since I was the young of toronto, she would bring me to the first load in toronto near danforth and coxwell. I take my wife in ajax weekly and was so glad they opened here in orillia. bring the family here next time in the city, loved the menu and the facility.

Really enjoy this place recently just moved here from the city I think this will be my spot every Sunday the eggs Benny seems to be one of the best I've had great job guys see you next Sunday

Wow! Why a great fathers day treat! Wonderful service and great food! Our server, Hennessey was very kind to me and my children. Can’t wait to come back to Sunset Grill.

As usual, we were greeted warmly, served quickly, checked on by the manager, coffee refilled, etc. Food was great as well. Nice, consistent experience.
