The food at Sunset Grill was well seasoned, delicious and the seafood were fresh. I ordered the Chesapeake Chicken with a baked potato, seasonal greens and peeled shrimps. My friend ordered the crab cakes with potatoes and salad. Both meals were delicious! The crab was very juicy, the chicken was tender and I loved the addition of ham on the chicken. Our waiter Jared is a rock star! He was friendly, sweet and very helpful. The manager was amazing and you can say that they really care about customer satisfaction that I appreciate. The restaurant closes a bit early, but you can go to teasers next door for live music and cocktails! Teasers closes at 2:00. My only complaint is how the personnel...
During a weekend with my husband and an afternoon of sightseeing, we wanted dinner in a place overlooking the sunset (the name was our first hint that we would get that). We found a place to sit and waited 20 minutes before someone recognized us after asking someone to send a server to our place. Once we had one, the service was good. The Mahi fingers we got as an appetizer were fantastic! My husband enjoyed the lambs and the shrimp salad pack I got decent, but I wouldn't order again. Hubby got an old fashion and I got the best dirty Martini and it lived to the name. I would visit again, but hope it won't take so long for a server.
We had a wonderful meal and the view, food and service were great. It is expensive, but the location and ambience inside and outside is beautiful. We had crabbe dip appetizer (order extra bread) that was my favorite. Seafood entrees were fresh and tasty, we had halibut and black salmon. The potatoes and vegetables were all very tasteful. Just what was not so good my Mango Brech I was disappointed by lack of mango taste for the price I wouldn't get it again. Nice place for a special occasion. Admissions by 40.00 and appetizer 15.00. They were busy, but service was fast and waiter attentive.
The staff was absolutely amazing, Jess was our waitress and she was just amazing! Very fast, even with how busy the restaurant was, but still took time to talk to us and give their opinions with which we should eat. She helped to make the experience what it was! The only real disadvantage was how busy it was and waiting, that went with. Definitely will come again for another date night.
