I can’t recommend this enough. We were lucky enough to book this on a night when there were enough to merit interest (min 8) yet not too many for it to be full (max around 15); there were 9 of us, which meant my boyfriend and I got to meet and get to know our 7 dinner partners and enjoy their company. Oliver, the manager of the sunstar hotel, is your host, and will tell you about his life adventures, and love of travel, Switzerland, and sustainability as he guides you through an amazing dinner. What a wonderful experience on a cold October evening to duck into a warm wooden hut with a roaring fire and cook up delicious heaps of raclette: you prepare the pieces of meats and vegetables yoursel...

Whilst we did not stay at the hotel, we enjoyed the restaurant so much, we went back to it again! First we tried the bar food at the Hotel on one night. It was quite delicious and staff were friendly and helpful and had a great atmosphere even though it had rained that afternoon! . We tried the main restaurant which had formal setting but the quality of the food and service was very good again.

My husband and I booked the fondue Gondola dinner and it was simply amazing! We booked this for my birthday and it was the perfect way to celebrate. All the little details and courteousness of the staff made our experience perfect. The fondue was delicious and our chocolate mousse dessert was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend this unique experience!

The hut seats about 12 around a roaring fire. Your host will guide you through the various courses, with fondue (some nights its raclette) as the star attraction. A unique experience. If you go, leave your jacket,scarves etc outside its cozy but a bit smokey inside....

Made a reservation for 3 and when we arrived I was informed we needed to be a minimum of 8 and it was of course full. TripAdvisor info also incomplete.
