Surf City Sandwich

Uodate: Owner is much more polite and attentive. The food seems to have improved. Even wish delivery (also Turkish) was an option for this place and that prices were more reasonable. But I would like to update my previous review of 2 to 4 stars. Your food tastes great, which I would also give 4 stars. but they are a very pretentious sandwich shop. They are expensive, nickel and dime all extra and side, and their sandwiches are becoming smaller every time I'm gone. It would also be awesome if they could eat tordash or Uber. I wish they had a better customer service. It's either an owner or manager, but she's not polite when I get her.

Most of the sandwich tasted great, but a bite had a distinctive taste of mold, like blue cheese. I thought that a spectacle of Gorgonzola had found his way to my sandwich, but I checked back over the menu and gorgonzola doesn't seem to be an ingredient... so I'm pretty sure that an ingredient on my sandwich was a bit spoiled. disappointment, because I wanted to like this place.

Order and enjoyed the classic hot pastrami on rye, very tasty came with chips, and a glass of water. Ordering came quickly and would highly recommend this place if you were in the Capitola area of Santa Cruz. Really beautiful tattoo shop next door also if you are in this kind of thing.

They were here twice and never disappointed! Great sandwiches and sides. You can't get wrong with one of the selections of what I've experienced. Very recommended for locals and tourists! Here's her delicious beer Barnacle's appetizer. If you love Tater darts, you will love them!

Lunch is always delicious here and I love the freshly made potato chips on the side. No need for indoor dining when there are enough terrace seating. My favorite is the Pork Belly Banh Mi!
