Surfside Rooster - Reservar uma mesa

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast when I'm in town. I love you getting dishes that are beyond your eggs and pancakes. I spent between $15-20 for a breakfast meal before tipping, which is quite above the board at this point. We tried some things on their menu and never had anything less than delicious. My favorite meal has been huevos rancheros so far, which unfortunately was only a special one on the days I got it, and I hold my fingers crossed it every time I go. It comes in a small cast iron skill that I am partly, but the meal is really amazing! If I were rated alone on the basis of food, this restaurant would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, the room leaves little to wish for me...

Found this gem after moving to the area in 2020. Its country farmhouse with modern takes on classics. Quaint place, one side is bar seating only and the other is a dining room. Get there early on an in-season Saturday bc it can be packed. Food is fresh, tasty, and comforting. Went for my birthday yesterday! Had the fried green tomatoes with honey for an appetizer; the tomatoes were thick cut and the breading wasn't greasy at all. The honey added the perfect amount of sweetness and turned it into more of a breakfast dish. My breakfast was the avocado toast with potatoes, delicious! The food was really good. Breakfast. It can be expensive, but portions are large and hearty. Super sweet inside. Our waiter was overwhelmed and the other waitress was super cranky.
