Restaurant Sushi Bar Oishi

I fancied a light dinner and nipped to Oishi for some sushi. I occasionally eat sushi, so I thought it'd be a nice change. I was warmly welcomed and settled into the corner. The waitress was kind and attentive. I then selected a shrimp roll dish from the conveyor and was really surprised how flavoursome, juicy and fresh it was. Needless to say I had another dish, then some tuna nigiri and a salmon nigiri (lightly warmed with a blowtorch). My light meal... turned into a full meal, due to the excellent food. The chef was engaging and keen to adapt his dishes to the customers tastes. I left a very satisfied customer.

since Kloten is a rather town small and close to the airport, this is a great place to get fresh sushi and friendly conversation. Kloten has many good restaurants, but this being the one-off, (i.e. something different) it is fun to try and it is worth the try! the hours are limited- not open on weekends- but M-F lunch and dinner; take what you want off the boat or order something not on the boat. Staff is friendly and helpful with helping you with decisions... Definitely will be back here next time in town. i also noticed that this is a favorite with locals and folks off the train from Zurich...

Since this restaurant is so close to the main station, we happened after it went in. Loved the whole sushi belt bar experience. This is our family for the first time. I thought it was soooo fun! Great waiters who helped us find things. The food itself was good, not exceptional. But it was easy to fill quickly. A bit expensive, but then again, central location. Would recommend!

We love to come here frequently since we are all sushi lovers and try sushi restaurants wherever we go. This is a cosy place where you get freshly prepared sushi creations that are very tasty. Since it is in Switzerland of course it is pricy but not more than other sushi places in and around zurich but here you feel more welcome and treated better.

Adequate price, Very tasty and hostess welcome. Very recommended restaurant to go if you are near Kloten
