Sushi Bistro Auburn Japanese

I used to love Sushi Bistro but we went for dinner recently and based on that meal, I will likely not go back. First, I want to start with the positive. We requested a table ahead of time on Google and I would like to say that our table was ready with no waiting. Staff was nice. Now for the bad, the food was soooo disappointing. All meat, in all ways we were served, was over cooked. The tempura shrimp in my sushi was chewy. I ordered the kids teriyaki chicken bowl for my son- chicken was so overcook he couldn’t even chew it enough to eat it so he pretty much ate nothing for dinner at the restaurant. This is one of my favorite places for sushi. The restaurant is a lot of things all in one. It could be considered a romantic spot because of the lighting and atmosphere, but I'm also not afraid to bring my child here. The food is really good and the service is even better. They have a large variety of sushi rolls plus bentonite boxes and bowls, which are my favorite. This has become a regular favorite place of mine to dine. It's a bit on the pricey side for my wallet, but it's about the same as the others. I definitely recommend this spot as a place to stop for a bite to eat or to try some sushi.

We came for the holidays and wanted something not so heavy our sister in law suggested this place. The food was great we have the tuna, seasoned great. Then spring rolls had. Great sauce. Wish they had more of it. I got the veggies roll it was not rolled right and fell apart, but was still good. My husband got the Texas roll which was total bang for your buck. Great place

Great Japanese place with a good selection of Bento boxes and sushi. The food is always fresh and delicious here. We love eating here.Food: 5/5

Fish was basically frozen. Flavor of the sashimi was so so for frozen fish. Had much better just about everywhere. Real disappointment.
