SUSHI Izakaya NARA

We had enadame, fresh soy beans in shell that were very more-ish, the tempura prawn and veg udon was a standout. We enjoyed 2 types, pork and vegetarian, of the fresh and tasty momo. Japanese beer, bottle of tap was flavourful and refreshing. We were told we must leave by 8.30 after arriving at 6.30. This would be OK if a) you were welcomed on arriving and b) if they took your order promptly and c) service was a bit quicker. We were out by 8 pm but felt we didn't have time to linger, relax and enjoy!

We love Nara! For a long time you have been eating there for most weeks. We decide for a cozy stand, but also tables are available. Large selection of interesting dishes, of which you will not find Japanese restaurants in typical suburbs. Large beer selection including a range of very good Japanese beers. Selection hot and cold. Service is very good either by professional Japanese employees or owners Tomo san. Prices are quite reasonable. Very recommended!

This place is great. Excellent food, service and beer. It’s a very authentic izakaya experience. We didn’t try the sushi or sashimi, but we ordered many other things from the menu and they were all delicious. If only there were more Japanese restaurants like this in Sydney. Thumbs up from me.

Yum yum yum great Japanese food with interesting dishes. Love the tempura garfish and the kingfish carpaccio and everything some dishes are tapas in nature great for sharing

Food is very friendly service. Easy parking. Genuine Japanese food!! Very recommended
