Sushi Kobo Takeout

for the first time sushi kobo visited yesterday. my understanding is that this is the only sushi restaurant that is actually managed by a Japanese family in the comox valley. a miniaturized operation along the Comox City Strip, which continue to offer acceptance during these COVID times. really great. experience; as her best friend mother make her a Japanese firm! everything was super fresh and qualitatiw high quality ingredients (no bred fish for these youngs!) great tasting miso, perfect ebi sunomono, pork katsu and unagi donburis, and a few rolls and some nigiri sushi round the experience. for those adventurous enough to try the unagi donburi, preview that their “complete order” is a huge...

Eating here is always delicious with fresh ingredients prepared by experienced chefs. service here is also excellent and unknown for me at my last visit I left one of my things behind me and as my daughter for more sushi weeks later the woman went. reminded her and back my lost items. this quality of customer service is very appreciated and we will be back for the friendly faces as well as the delicious sushi!

This small, busy restaurant offered delicious food for really reasonable prices! We shared a beef donburi, pork gyoza and half a dozen rolls for $40! Everything tasted incredible, and we will definitely go back the next time we’re in the area! Just a note on...their address: the address listed on their Facebook page is wrong; they’re at 1773 Comox Ave, not 1733.

I work just down the street from this terrific little eatery. I probably drop in here for a take out lunch four or five times a month. Don't take my word for it, look at the number of people eating here all day long (sidewalk dining). My daughter picks up her lunch here regularly. Great food!

our fave sushi place. every time we go after kobo, we are happy with our meal, comox harbour is a great place to take their take on a sunny day.
