Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine

foster city native love sweet basil thai. it was great to eat here and see a whole section of the menu dedicated to vegetarian/vegan options and most dishes can be veganized. tofu is offered as a meat substitute. I had the reisplatte pad basil (Kra-Praw), which was loaded with paprika, chili, garlic, bambus shoot and basilikum over reis. beautiful quantity of chili zing and veg sorte. orange was nice to finish the meal. came with a cup of suppe, which was hearty and refreshing, would eat here again.

we stopped Friday morning and were in approx. 45 minutes in and out. the tom yum and tom ka suppen can both be served with tofu (although the menu does not reflect) and they are delicious! they have a Veg area of 5 or 6 items. the aubergine was great.

there was no separate vegan menu as we asked 2 the waiter there, but they said they could recommend a lot of dinge vegan/were in the location, many dishes to us. the food was all excellent and the inner is actually super sweet (good for a date night)

lively little place with great obedient, friendly service and delicious vegan options. really enjoyed the pumpkin curry
