Sweet Tee's Coffee Shop

This is perhaps one of the last affordable, local, homey hole in the wall coffee shops in the greater Kansas City area. It's a hidden gem, and an asset to Olathe. What sucks is that I am a remote worker, live 5 minutes away, and can't come work here because the public WiFi is unusable. At least 3 out of my last 5 visits, I was unable to get my MacBook pro to connect. I've never had any issues at Starbucks or other places with public WiFi, just here. They have probably lost hundreds of dollars worth of business because of bad WiFi.

I came in here to order drinks and also see if they offered whole bean coffee. The service was friendly and the drinks were fine. Though the whole bean coffee I received was quite odd. It seems to be a very low quality blend of light, medium, and dark roasts. It tastes quite cheap as well. At $16 per pound, I would have appreciated a warning regarding the quality of the blend. Overall good experience, though I suspect the shop is serving very cheap, low quality, wholesale beans and that tastes does come through.

Sweet Tee's is a great place to go if you want the classic coffee shop experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The staff are always friendly. The coffee is good and the espresso drinks are pretty great. They have well trained baristas. The only little downside is that when it gets busy, it gets a little loud. Their new seating area is very nice. Other than that, I would recommend Sweet Tee's to anyone.

Such a delightful Olathe treasure. Definitely love supporting a local Olathe place. I hadn’t been in a while and was impressed they have another seating area. Great prices, delicious pastries and a kind staff. We tried a Strawberry and Cream scone and vanilla latte and loved both. They also have gluten free and vegan options. Excellent lattes! I really enjoy coffee/espresso drinks from a mug (something you don’t get at the ‘fast food coffee’ joints). If you have time to sit and enjoy your coffee, Sweet Tee’s is an excellent option.

Hidden gem I’ve lived in olathe for three years snd did know this place existed. Outstanding food and service. I will definitely patronize this place over and over.

Super cute and unique. You can select from the walls of reusable coffee cups that express you. They support local artists too. Gluten free goodies also.

Love love love Sweet Tee's. I always get Goodness Bar and Italian Cream Soda with Raspberry. Both are amazing! The atmosphere is really nice and unique. Reserve uma mesa agora
