Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

I went through the drive-thru to order a couple of orders of fries. As I was waiting at the window, I saw an employee accidentally spill one order on the counter. Without using gloves, she picked them up, put them back in the container, and handed them to me. When I told her what happened, she laughed and denied it. I requested a replacement order, and they reluctantly prepared one for me. They made a show of exaggerating their actions as they placed the fries in a take-out bag. The service was extremely poor and the attitude was even worse. I threw them out for fear that they may have done something else to them. Stay away from this place.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and was very impressed with the delicious chicken wings, spare ribs, sweet potato fries, salads, and desserts. The food was thoughtfully packaged and everything tasted great. In addition to the grilled chicken, the menu also offers spare ribs, roast beef, soups, and even Chinese options like spring rolls. The restaurant is conveniently located on Highway 3 in Simcoe, making it easy to place an order using their app while on your way into town.

My partner and I ordered the quarter chicken dinner and both chose baked potatoes. Unfortunately, the potatoes were not very hot and seemed reheated, making them quite hard. It's clear that Swiss Chalet is not up to par anymore. The meal did not look appetizing and was not worth the price we paid.

Great atmosphere, great serving staff. The menu has something for everyone, even vegans! I am especially happy that shrimp is now available to enhance my meal.

Good food. The service was quick for as busy as it was. We had the new roast beef were very pleased with it. Chain prices are corporate high.
