Szechuan House - Reservar uma mesa

I've main takeaway I've used in Stafford as when I first moved here it was the one of the 3 most local to my flat (but having tried the other two which are even nearer, I wouldn't bother again), but from both going in to order/pick up or delivery they've always been timely and the food is good. After I moved to another part of town I continue to order online here even though there are nearer establishments to my new house, but they don't have facility to order online so I haven't explored any further, but as I've always had good food from here that not real issue. I generally judge my Chinese takeaways by its chow meins and Yuk Sungs and these have been good. Good portion sizes too.

We placed our takeout order at 8:55pm with an estimated arrival time of 9:45pm. I called the restaurant at 10:00pm to check on the status of our food, and they informed me that it would be an additional 25 minutes, suggesting that they had not even begun preparing it. Despite being hungry, I decided to cancel the order as it had already been delayed past my tolerance. I will not be relying on them for delivery in the future. The excuse of being busy is not sufficient. Who wants to wait an hour and a half for takeout when it is expected to be quick?

Had ordered 2 times from them. First time I had sweet shredded beef (6 or 7 quid) the tub came half empty, decided to give the duck in plum sauce (container came with 12 SMALL and sum crumbs prices of duck and the sauce in a different small tub in the container with the duck). EXTREMELY disappointed in this place. I WARN you to not order from this place is way to expensive and food is near none existent lol. At 6.20 the duck this is the amount.....

I ordered the crispy beef, duck in plum sauce, and Singapore rice noodles. It cost around 21 pounds with delivery. The duck was chewy and the sauce seemed watery and didn't taste like plum at all. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this restaurant as there are many other Chinese takeaways in the area that are much better.

1hr 40 later I’m still waiting for the order. Phoned the restaurant and spoke to a girl who couldn’t care less. For a £60 order I expect better service. Absolutely awful.
