Food here is really good, really fresh and tasty. I brought the score down due to the fairly high price combined with absolute inflexibility. I asked if I could swap out one thing in a bento box due to allergy (ie. not just because I felt like it) and they refused point blank. They were not busy at the time and it was not the main feature of the box, they just have a zero changes policy. That means I can either buy things I can't eat, or cut their menu down to about 1/5 dishes If it was a budget place or a flat-out service I'd understand; but with the high price, a simple substitution during a quiet lunch service should be fine. udon know how much i love I still remember the first time that my manager took me into this little restaurant, I immediately fell in love with the mood and its authenticity. the restaurant is managed by japaners, they were always acompatible and friendly that eating was in the height of the average price range, given the location and what not, but it makes for the quality of food and the amazing service. I would normally order a Bento box, but was adventurous and decided to go for udon instead. I was looking for a decent approach near the Wharf Theater when we saw the revue later in the evening and had luck finding this place. we really enjoyed our dinner. relatiw small and cozy in the inner we had a reservation (which I recommend as sitting places are limited.) the staff was great, has looked after us from beginning to end well and was very helpful and friendly. the meal was great, we had sashimi, tempura garnel and endamame for beginners. my karage chicken curry was so tasty and a big part too. very cheap. I have an Izakaya type vibe from this place. we have enjoyed our preshow dinner very much and will soon be here again.
the personal is quite rude. my friend and I went on a weekday to midday. it was my last day at work before a holiday and I felt like a beer. They didn't know that I was also ashamed in this process by the woman who managed the restaurant! They laughed about me and said no one commanded on the afternoon beer, so I just wanted to see who it was and if they enjoyed it at all and then laughed further we were both of the unjust the food was decent; the portions are large. but yes, maybe they can work on how they talk to paying customers.
