Taj Palace Owings Mills

I love this place! The food is top notch and definitely our “go to” place for Indian food! The decor is tasteful and furnishings are comfortable. Service is very good too although sometimes they take dishes without asking if we are done (a minor thing). I do suggest that they do something about their door. Every time the door opens, the air rushes into the restaurant and it’s often very COLD! They could fix this by building a rotating door or by building a second enclosure.

I was here twice this week. the service was attentive, but not intrusive and eating (soaking breakfast roll, lamm saag and garlauch naan) was so delicious that I came back a few days later to celebrate the birthday of a friend. because we fasted from meat, we have tried a few of their many vegetarian and vegan options. the vegetable biryani was so delicious and generous that I can't wait for the rest of today. I recommend this restaurant.

Took forever to be seated even with a reservation. Took another hour and 45 minutes to get our entrees. No apologies were given until we finished the meal and were becoming agitated that the check had not come yet.

eating well, service and personal seems to be dedicated to online orders rather than customers in. the kitchen special and server special.
